Telangana EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) Cancelled for the 2nd time. This time the Governement has cited wide-spread cheating and irregularities for the decision.  

- Because of creation of Telangana, separate EAMCETs were held - one each by AP and Telangana
- The 1st EAMCET conducted on 15th May but was cancelled due to the confusion owing to NEET
- The 2nd EAMCET was held on July 9th after the center allowed state Governments to conduct own CETs this time.
- The 2nd EAMCET was cancelled because of widespread irregularities.
- It is alleged that the scam involved selling the question papers for amounts ranging between Rs. 30-40 lacs.
- Telanagana CID is probing the case and has arrested a few members of a Delhi based racket
